if you want to roleplay, you're going to need a character. all characters on the forum require an accepted application and it is here that you can find the template and already accepted characters.

there are lots of extra features available for you and your characters, such as threads to plot with other characters and claims to make sure that nobody else steals the thing you want!

| THE HOUSE |
| BEDROOMS
these grand bedrooms belong to the aristocrats of the house. they are by far more comfortable than the servants' quarters and it is in these rooms that they sleep and prepare themselves for the day.

| DINING ROOM
it is here that meals are served to the household after being brought up to from the kitchens by the footmen. servants eat when they have finished serving and in the servants' hall rather than the dining room.

| DRAWING ROOM
after a meal, the men stay in the dining room whilst the women retreat to the drawing room, though they are later rejoined when the men have finished drinking.

| ENTRANCE HALL
all guests are invited into the house by the butler through the front door into the entrance hall. they are often asked to wait here while the person they wish to see is informed of their arrival.

| KITCHENS
run by the cook with the assistance of the kitchen maids, meals are prepared here for both the household and for guests before being taken up to the dining room by the footmen.

| LIBRARY
a large collection of books are kept on many shelves in the family library. most of them are novels by various authors but there is an almost equal number of non-fiction texts as well.

| SERVANTS' HALL
this is where all of the servants at dalton estate come together to eat and to socialise with one another. a staircase up from here leads to the house and there are two doors; one to the butler's office and another to the housekeeper's office.

| SERVANTS' QUARTERS
when their services are no longer required at the end of the day, the servants are permitted to retire to their quarters. it is within their quarters that they sleep, as well as prepare in the mornings for the day ahead.

| THE GROUNDS |
| GARDENS
the daltons actually have several gardens on the estate, some of which have a particular theme whilst others simply consist of trees and flowerbeds.

| LAKE
although not an extremely large lake, it is still rather big. it is naturally deeper at some parts than others but is generally always cold, especially in the winter months.

| LAWNS
not all of the estate is covered in flowers, in fact a large portion of the grounds is just open grass. while there isn't an awful lot going on, it's still a nice place to just sit around and do nothing.

| TERRACE
the back door leads to a large balcony-type area with steps leading down to an ever bigger platform running the length of the house. fountains, statues and flower beds make the terrace a pleasant place to just walk through.

whether you're going off on an exotic cruise or just going to see your grandparents for a few days, let us know that you'll be away so we can make sure you're saved if we have an activity check.
